Berry & Jackson make a lot of sense. People who really care about the land use their minds to care for the land in ways that respect the land we just take for granted. Family farming and even gardening is hard work physicaly and mentally but brings out creativity and satisfaction. Some of our jobs just dull the mind. Boredom can lead to bad habits that promise satisfaction but deliver deeper discontent.
This extrovert loves Life including, at times the plenitude of silence! I enjoy my Congregation of St. Joseph Community, family, friends, co-workers, the ideals and energy of young adults, the experience and wisdom of elders, animals, especially, dogs and horses, good conversation, humor, teaching, walking, dancing, swimming, baking, tennis and organizations like the American Teilhard Association and the Sisters of the Earth. It was my privilege to be Thomas Berry's graduate assistant. I have taught Spirituality, organized Sewing Clubs and co-produced Radio Programs in Zambia. Travels have taken me to Ireland, Great Britain, Africa, Italy and Canada. My involvements have included Spiritual Formation, Retreats, Spiritual Direction, and Workshops, along with Ecological, Interfaith, Social Justice and U.N. Activities.
