Bocelli's mother bravely fostered her son's life & gave such a gift to the world. How many potential musicians, artists, scientists, teachers, parents, business wizards, medical professionals, public servants, wonderful ordinary working people etc. have been deprived of their lives and the world deprived of their gifts. How can we better support mothers & fathers in difficult circumstances?
This extrovert loves Life including, at times the plenitude of silence! I enjoy my Congregation of St. Joseph Community, family, friends, co-workers, the ideals and energy of young adults, the experience and wisdom of elders, animals, especially, dogs and horses, good conversation, humor, teaching, walking, dancing, swimming, baking, tennis and organizations like the American Teilhard Association and the Sisters of the Earth. It was my privilege to be Thomas Berry's graduate assistant. I have taught Spirituality, organized Sewing Clubs and co-produced Radio Programs in Zambia. Travels have taken me to Ireland, Great Britain, Africa, Italy and Canada. My involvements have included Spiritual Formation, Retreats, Spiritual Direction, and Workshops, along with Ecological, Interfaith, Social Justice and U.N. Activities.
